Coming Home to Embodied Awakening Summit 2026 – Hosted by Master Mingtong Gu
In a world that keeps speeding up, many of us feel strangely unrooted—even when we’re doing “all the right things” for our growth.
This experience is an invitation to come back to what’s most immediate and trustworthy: the felt sense of being alive in your own body, right now.
Instead of adding more concepts to think about, you’ll be guided into practices and reflections that help awareness land—so insight becomes something you can live.
Why Attend “Coming Home to Embodied Awakening Summit”
Coming Home to Embodied Awakening is a global ceremonial summit created for this moment in history — a time of accelerating technology, fragmentation, and disconnection. Rather than offering more information, this gathering invites people to return to their bodies, their inner wisdom, and their innate capacity for presence, healing, and purpose. When life feels fragmented, it’s easy to keep seeking the next insight while the nervous system stays on alert. This summit is built around a different premise: that lasting change becomes possible when awareness includes the body—breath, sensation, energy, and the simple experience of being here. Rather than asking you to “fix yourself,” it offers a supportive field to slow down, listen inwardly, and remember what steadiness feels like from the inside out. This is not a conference. It is a movement of remembrance. You’ll be invited into lived presence through gentle movement, quiet reflection, and practical guidance that you can carry into the ordinary moments where patterns usually return.
Many people are highly self-aware and still feel tense, fatigued, or emotionally reactive—especially when relationships, work, or world events intensify. Coming Home to Embodied Awakening is designed to help insight land as lived experience. Across five days you’ll be guided through embodied practices, music, and grounded conversations that help you calm and reset the nervous system, release stored tension, and restore a felt sense of safety and vitality. Alongside teachings, the summit includes somatic ceremony through music and song, plus “true story” moments and integration time—so what you receive can settle, digest, and become usable. It’s a rhythm of learning, feeling, and integrating that supports real change without force.
Over the summit, Master Mingtong Gu brings together respected teachers, scientists, and wisdom holders for live conversations and guided sessions that emphasize integration. In the promo materials, Master Mingtong Gu shares that each teacher was personally selected and personally interviewed to explore a practical question: how embodiment influences their work, their decisions, and their daily lives—focusing on lived experience, not theory. Each day also has a distinct theme—mind–body–spirit, trauma and relationship, community and leadership, Earth traditions, and the meeting of ancient wisdom with new science—so you can sense what supports you most and practice it directly. And because the modern pace is not slowing down, this gathering speaks to our time: it’s not about rejecting technology, but about restoring balance, attention, and inner stability as the external world accelerates. You’ll leave with concrete ways to return to your body, again and again, so embodiment becomes a daily resource—not just a moment of inspiration.
What Makes This Different From Other Summits
The materials for Coming Home to Embodied Awakening Summit describe it as a “global ceremonial summit” and a “movement of remembrance,” not a conference. That distinction matters. Many online events are built around back-to-back talks that leave you inspired but unintegrated—your mind has new ideas, yet your body still feels the same. Here, the focus is on embodiment: letting awareness include sensation, breath, and energy so transformation is something you can feel and practice, not just understand. The intention is to help you reconnect with presence, healing, and purpose by returning to the body as living intelligence.
Beyond listening, you’re invited into multiple layers of experience: live conversations, guided practices, music and song as somatic ceremony, and intentional integration. Each day includes an opening transmission to set the field, “true story” moments that bring the teachings into human life, and reflection or gentle movement to help insight settle. That mix is an opportunity to slow down and actually metabolize what you’re receiving—especially if you’re someone who tends to move quickly from one insight to the next. The schedule also weaves embodiment into a wide range of real-life areas: compassion and mindfulness lived in the nervous system, safety and belonging, leadership and stewardship, nature-based healing, and the meeting of ancient wisdom with modern science.
Master Mingtong Gu also shares a clear “why” for the summit: the increasing pace of technological change. While technology expands what we can do, it can also change how we relate to our bodies, our attention, and our inner stability. This movement is explicitly “not about rejecting technology,” but about restoring balance so you can remain grounded and emotionally stable in a fast world. In that spirit, the summit emphasizes daily practices—such as guided Wisdom Healing Qigong sessions—to support relaxation, emotional balance, and increased energy.
Finally, this summit goes beyond the live days with added resources included at registration: bonus teachings and practices from Master Mingtong Gu, an eBook playbook for conscious AI practice, and selected excerpts that introduce the principles of coming home to the body. These additions reinforce the core promise of the event: embodiment as a repeatable, daily practice. So even if you’re busy, you’re not just “consuming a summit”—you’re receiving a framework and a set of practices you can return to anytime, reliably, to rebuild steadiness and clarity from the inside out—especially when life gets noisy.

Who Should Attend Coming Home to Embodied Awakening Summit
If you’ve done personal growth work and still sense a gap between what you know and what you can actually live, this summit is for you. The focus is on coming home to the body—so compassion, mindfulness, healing, and purpose become felt, practical, and available in everyday moments. It’s also for anyone who feels the strain of modern pace and wants to restore balance, steadiness, and inner stability in a way that doesn’t rely on pushing harder, right now.
The summit is described as a “global ceremonial summit,” which means you’re not only receiving teachings—you’re stepping into an atmosphere designed for remembrance. The schedule includes opening transmissions, music and song as somatic ceremony, and integration time (reflection or gentle movement) to help what you learn settle into real experience. If you tend to leave online events with a full notebook but no embodied shift, this structure is meant to support the missing step: letting insight become something you can feel and return to in your body.
Across five themed days—mind–body–spirit, trauma and relationship, community and leadership, Earth traditions, and ancient wisdom meeting new science—you’ll be guided through live conversations and daily practices (including guided Wisdom Healing Qigong) that support emotional regulation. You do not need any prior experience with Qigong, meditation, or somatic practice to benefit, and you can participate from wherever you are. The point is accessibility: simple ways to meet your nervous system, your attention, and your energy with more kindness and skill, so you can bring presence into work, family life, and the choices that shape your future. You’ll also hear from a wide range of featured voices across the days, offering multiple perspectives on what it means to live embodied wisdom.
- You feel “aware” but still disconnected from your body, breath, or sense of inner safety.
- You want practical ways to calm and reset the nervous system and release stored tension.
- You’re exploring healing and belonging—especially how relationship can become more regulated and compassionate.
- You’re called to lead, serve, or contribute, and want leadership that arises from presence rather than force.
- You feel drawn to nature-based healing and Earth traditions as a way to reconnect with life.
- You’re curious about the bridge between ancient wisdom and modern science in a grounded, embodied frame.
- You want an experience that includes practice, music, reflection, and integration—not just more information.
What You’ll Learn During Coming Home to Embodied Awakening Summit
You’ll explore embodiment as a practical skill: how to sense what’s true in your system, and how to return to presence when life pulls you into stress or overthinking. The summit emphasizes lived experience—bringing compassion, mindfulness, and healing into the nervous system, not just the mind. As you practice, you’ll begin to recognize the difference between “trying to be grounded” and actually feeling grounded.
Across the five days, themes include coming home to the body, restoring safety and belonging, expressing embodied leadership and service, reconnecting with Earth-based healing, and integrating ancient wisdom with modern language and science. You’ll also be guided through music and song as somatic ceremony, plus reflection and gentle movement for integration, so insights can settle into your day-to-day life. The aim is simple: steadiness, clarity, and inner stability you can return to again and again, especially when life gets intense.
Whether you’re new to embodiment or already practicing, the structure supports repetition and integration—so you can take what resonates and use it in real situations: relationships, work, health, and the choices you make when you’re under pressure. You’ll learn how embodied practice can support emotional regulation and resilience without forcing a particular outcome. Here’s some of what you’ll learn:
- How to relate to the body as living intelligence—letting sensation become trustworthy guidance in decisions, emotions, relationships, and everyday pacing.
- Ways to calm and reset the nervous system through simple, repeatable embodied practices you can return to in minutes, without special equipment.
- How compassion becomes more real when it is felt, breathed, and lived in the body.
- Approaches to safety and belonging that help “frozen” stress return to flow through presence and gentle attention.
- How mindfulness can be rooted in the body rather than performance, striving, or perfection.
- Embodied leadership: expressing service and stewardship from regulated presence, not force—especially in challenging moments.
- Practices for grounding into nature-based connection—remembering human body as Earth body, supported by land, lineage, and living systems.
- How breath and energy practices can bridge ancient wisdom and modern life in a grounded, practical way you can apply immediately.
- Ways to integrate insight through reflection, gentle movement, and time to let learning settle into a felt sense you can trust.
- How to build a daily relationship with embodiment—so steadiness is available and reliable even in a fast world of accelerating change, distraction, and information overload.

About Your Host – Master Mingtong Gu
Master Mingtong Gu is a lineage holder of Wisdom Healing Qigong and the founder of The Chi Center. He was named Qigong Master of the Year by the 13th World Congress on Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine for his ability to transmit healing through embodied practice and living energy.
His journey began in China during the Cultural Revolution, shaped by hardship, separation, and deep inner resolve. He became the first person from his village to attend college and later earned two master’s degrees in the United States. Along the way, he returned to the living wisdom of Taoism, Buddhism, and Qigong, and in 1997 he trained under Dr. Pang Ming, founder of the world’s largest Qigong hospital. There, he witnessed thousands of people recover from chronic and complex conditions through medicine-free, embodied practice. Through the same path, he healed his own long-standing health challenges and devoted his life to awakening the body’s innate healing intelligence.
He initiated Coming Home to Embodied Awakening in response to the increasing pace of technological change. While technology expands what’s possible, it can also shift how people relate to their bodies, their attention, and their inner stability. This movement is not about rejecting technology, but about restoring balance. Embodiment, in his view, helps people remain grounded, emotionally stable, and physically aware even as the external world accelerates—and the summit offers practices that support that reconnection.
For this gathering, Master Mingtong Gu personally selected each teacher—respected leaders in their fields and long-time practitioners of embodiment-based disciplines. He interviews each one to explore a practical question: how embodiment influences their work, their decisions, and their daily lives. These conversations emphasize lived experience rather than theory, highlighting how embodied practices can shape emotional stability, resilience, relationships, and health.
His intention is to create an environment where participants can learn practices directly and experience their effects in their own bodies. The summit is designed as an entry point into that process—less about collecting new ideas and more about letting the body be part of awakening. This orientation is reflected in the summit’s emphasis on daily guided sessions, including Wisdom Healing Qigong practices that support relaxation, emotional balance, and increased energy.
