About Jean Else & Suzanne Giesemann
Jean Else, MA, received a first-class education in mediumship from her wife of 24 years, world-renowned UK medium Mavis Pittilla. A lifelong schoolteacher, Jean brought her educational and organizational experience into their work together, helping develop courses and programs for aspiring mediums.
After retiring from teaching, Jean traveled with Mavis, ran workshops, helped develop mentorship programs, and taught students about mediumship, public speaking, and other essential aspects of the craft. Following Mavis’ death in 2022, Jean committed herself to carrying Mavis’ teaching legacy forward and now serves as Chief Executive & Director of the Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teacher Training Program.
Suzanne Giesemann is a spiritual teacher, bestselling author, award-winning documentarian, and practicing medium who was a student, colleague, and close friend of Mavis. A former Navy Commander with a master’s degree in National Security Affairs, Suzanne served as a commanding officer and as an aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff before moving into her current spiritual work.
Suzanne is the founder of The Awakened Way, creator of the BLESS ME Method© and SIP of the Divine© meditation, and author of 16 books, including The Awakened Way and Wolf’s Message.
