Gather Your Scattered Energy with Sacred Dance – Free Class with Banafhseh Sayyad

Free Online Event

When notifications, competing demands, endless information, and world events keep pulling at your attention, it can be hard to feel fully present in your own life. You may move through ordinary moments on autopilot, only to realize your energy feels scattered across everything asking for a piece of you.

Banafsheh Sayyad offers a different approach to focus: rather than forcing your mind to concentrate harder, she invites you to gather your whole being. Through Dance of Oneness®, movement, breath, sensation, feeling, and attention become part of a more embodied way of returning to the present.

You’ll explore the Infinity Wave, a foundational Dance of Oneness® practice inspired by the sacred geometry of the figure eight. Banafsheh will guide you in using the body as an anchor for attention while exploring the relationship between focus, balance, harmony, flow, and spiritual presence.

The session also looks at how everyday activities can become opportunities for conscious participation rather than automatic doing. Preparing food, walking, listening, creating, and completing a task can all become places to practice greater attention, reverence, and devotion.

Why Attend “Gather Your Scattered Energy with Sacred Dance”

Gather Your Scattered Energy with Sacred Dance with Banafsheh Sayyad

Modern life can fragment attention in subtle ways. You may be listening while thinking ahead, starting one task before finishing another, or moving so quickly that even meaningful moments pass without your full participation.

Banafsheh teaches that focus is not only a mental skill but a whole-being process. Her Dance of Oneness® method brings movement, breath, sensation, feeling, and attention together, offering an embodied way to gather energy that feels dispersed and reconnect with what is happening now.

This perspective also places spiritual practice directly inside daily life. Drawing from decades of dance, Sufi mysticism, spiritual practice, sacred geometry, and somatic exploration, Banafsheh approaches the body not as something to transcend but as a living doorway into greater presence, awareness, and relationship with the sacred.

What You’ll Learn

We’ll begin by exploring focus as a whole-being capacity, so you can consider what changes when attention is anchored not only in thought but also in your body, breath, senses, and feelings. You’ll look at distraction as something that can be met through embodied awareness rather than simply more mental effort.

From there, Banafsheh will guide you through the Infinity Wave, which means you’ll encounter a foundational Dance of Oneness® practice through movement rather than concept alone. The figure-eight form becomes a way to explore balance, harmony, flow, and coherence across movement and stillness, body and soul, and the seen and unseen.

Along the way, you’ll connect this practice with ordinary life, so that attention is not limited to a formal spiritual setting. Banafsheh will explore how joy, gratitude, care, and completing what you begin can support a more coherent relationship with what is in front of you.

Here’s just a little bit of what you’ll learn:
  • How Banafsheh approaches focus as a whole-being capacity rather than a purely mental effort
  • Ways movement, breath, sensation, feeling, and attention can work together in embodied practice
  • What the Infinity Wave is and why it is foundational within Dance of Oneness®
  • How the figure-eight form is used to explore balance, harmony, flow, and coherence
  • Why the body can become an anchor when your attention feels scattered
  • How shifting from automatic doing to conscious participation changes your relationship with everyday moments
  • Ways ordinary activities such as walking, listening, creating, or preparing food can become part of spiritual practice
  • How joy, gratitude, care, and completing what you begin relate to the cultivation of attention
  • How Banafsheh connects sacred dance with embodied awakening and the experience of life as sacred

About the Teaching & Guided Practice

What is the Infinity Wave?
The Infinity Wave is a foundational Dance of Oneness® practice inspired by the sacred geometry of the figure eight. Banafsheh uses it to explore coherence across movement and stillness, body and soul, and the seen and unseen.

What is Dance of Oneness®?
Dance of Oneness® is Banafsheh’s modality for embodied awakening. It brings together healing, wisdom teachings, rigorous dance technique, and self-expression while treating the body as an integral part of spiritual practice.

How does whole-being focus differ from forcing concentration with the mind?
Banafsheh teaches focus as a whole-being process that includes your body, breath, senses, feelings, and attention. Rather than relying only on mental effort, the practice invites you to gather scattered energy and become more fully engaged with what you are doing.

How can the body serve as an anchor when attention feels scattered?
Banafsheh’s approach invites you to move out of mental overactivity and return attention to the body, breath, sensation, and feeling. The event explores this as an embodied way to meet distraction with greater presence and inner steadiness.

How can everyday activities become part of spiritual practice?
Banafsheh explores bringing fuller attention to ordinary actions such as preparing food, walking, listening, creating, or completing a task. In this approach, everyday life can become a place to practice presence, reverence, intimacy, and devotion.

What role do joy, gratitude, care, and completion play in attention?
Banafsheh will explore how joy, gratitude, care, and completing what you begin can strengthen the capacity for attention. These qualities are connected with moving from scatteredness toward a more coherent and purposeful relationship with daily life.

How does sacred geometry relate to the Infinity Wave?
The Infinity Wave is inspired by the figure eight. Banafsheh uses this simple sacred-geometric form as a coherence-building practice for exploring complementary dimensions such as movement and stillness, body and soul, and the seen and unseen.

What does embodied awakening mean in Banafsheh’s approach?
In Banafsheh’s approach, the body is not something to transcend on the spiritual path but a living doorway between the finite and the infinite. Dance of Oneness® brings movement, breath, sensation, feeling, and awareness together as part of that embodied path.
